| Non-leather
Shoes |
There are no vegetarian shoe shops in the centre of London. Some
of the cheaper shoe shops, like Shoe Express on Oxford
Street, W1, may sell non-leather shoes. However for the better
quality stuff you will need to visit Vegetarian Shoes in Brighton (less than
one hour by train from Victoria Station), or Bourgeois Boheme in Richmond (which is in south-west London).
|
If you visit Richmond: Bourgeois Boheme Hydrex House, Garden Road, Richmond TW9 4NR Tel: 020 88 788 388
Run by vegans, BB sell high quality fashionable mens and ladies shoes and other products. They shave a retail showroom in Richmond, where you can try on the shoes. You can also order online. (e-mail info@bboheme.com) |

The
Major Supermarkets
We have found that Tesco, Waitrose, Sainsbury's and Marks

fruit and vegetables. However the amount of cooked food
that they supply that is suitable for vegans is limited.
Please refer to the Vegan Shopper which can be purchased
from the Vegan Society. |
